    Great shed for the money August 26, 2010

    This shed is like most other metal sheds....they are annoying to put together. Lots of nuts and bolts and washers. Be prepared to get annoyed and just deal with it. It took me 12 hours to build the floor out of wood and erect the shed. The metal is a little thin but for 350.00 what can one really expect. It serves it purpose and mine barely leaks.

    Arrow Mid Gable SR1011 Storage Building (10 ft. x 11 ft.) January 06, 2011

    The shed was demolished quite easily by a winter storm here in Scottsdale, AZ. It is too light weight. The entry or doorway is too low. My wife is who is 5 ft. 2 in. tall had to lower her head to enter the storage shed. When building the shed be careful and wear work gloves as some of the materials are sharp. My co-builder cut his hand on the material. Once we finished the shed it looked nice but the entry/doorway was a problem. I couldn't imagine loading a lot of stuff into it and having to stoop every time we entered the shed. There is not much ventilation and in Arizona it gets very hot. It took much longer than expected to assemble because the instructions were not very clear. Our main complaint is that Sears delivered the item on 11/08/10 and now the shed was easily demolished by the storm on 12/29/10. It is too light weight. I would expect better quality.

    I bought this with a coupon and got register rewards and it was on sale.Its great i needed one and this one is going to stand up to the high winds we get near the mountains.Its a really good deal for the price.I would advise anyone to check it out if you need some extra storage,thanks sears.couldnt ask for more

    box it comes in is very heavy

    I am very impressed with the SR1011 storage unit. The accuracy of the hole drilling was very precise. I had to drill my own holes five or six times. I assembled the structure for the most part by myself. My wife assisted me initially with the placement of the corner pieces and the first set of braces. After that initial construction I was on my own. I work slowly. It took me about 20 hours. The shed is on a cement slab. Wear gloves, read the instructions prior to start, assemble the beams prior to connecting panels. I connected the two corner panels together before connecting them to the floor brace. The medal is flimsy so make sure the panels are braced. There were missing screws so make sure you inventory your parts before you start. The manufacturer supplied the missing parts free of charge. We live in a windy area of southwestern Utah and it does snow. The manufacturer supplied the plans for a roof strengthening kit at no charge. The unit has been up for over three months and we have gone through six inch snow storms and 60 plus mph wind. The unit still looks good and functions well.

    Cons:
    instructions sometimes not very clear,instructions hard to understand

    When I bought this Arrow shed, I guess I based my decision on the integrity of Sears because I had no experiences with Arrow.  After all the issues of putting it together, it would have been a blessing to have had a storm blow it over.  Because now, I have a rusted building in my back yard after only one year!

    comes in a small box easy to haul,looks very nice when up,reasonable price,easy assembly

    mine was nissing a door slide

    Happy with my new shed. I finished assembly today, it was simple to put together. The instructions suggest to have a second person, which would be nice. I was taking care of my 4 year old boy, and some of his visiting friends. I made a concrete foundation about a foot wide for the perimeter and picked up bags of crushed stone for the floor. It took a day for prep of the ground work and 2 days for construction, with time outs to play with thomas tracks and matchbox cars in the yard and sandbox. I did end up using some longer bolts where the panels join together, which may not be needed with a helper to hold pressure from the other side. The trick with ease of assembly, are just a good cordless drill, ratchet with extention, and multiple white russians/ and or beers. Although it is only a metal shed and one good size branch coming down on it, will wipe it out. It is a good buy for short money.
