What is the difference between Hybrid Mode and Heat Pump Mode?

  • Hybrid Mode is GeoSpring's default mode; it operates with the heat pump and only uses the electric elements when a faster recovery is needed. Not only does it save energy, but it ensures that you'll have hot water when you need it.
  • Heat Pump Mode is the most energy-efficient mode and allows water to be heated solely from the heat pump without using traditional electric elements. Heat Pump Mode offers maximum savings and plenty of hot water.
