No matter how careful you may be or how many times you wash your hands and face, your sunglasses are bound to get dirty one way or another. Whether they're dirty from natural skin oils or your coffee that accidentally splashed during the commute, cleaning sunglasses is quick and easy. Just follow these simple instructions and you'll have sparkling-clean shades in a snap.
What you'll need:
Step 1: Rinse your sunglasses under warm water.
Quickly rinse off any dirt, and moisten your sunglasses before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Apply soap to your fingertips.
Lather the soap all over the sunglasses with your fingertips. Make sure to get in all the nooks and crannies around the lens edges, nose pads and hinges, as well.
Step 3: Rinse off the soap.
Simply rinse off your sunglasses with warm tap water once you're done cleaning them with the soap. Rinse well to avoid a soapy residue on the lenses.
Step 4: Dry with lint-free cloth.
Gently rub the lenses dry with a lint-free cloth. Napkins and other fabrics may scratch lenses and air drying can leave water marks.
