Dumbbell Torso Twist

This exercise increases strength and flexibility in your core. The key is to keep your shoulders down and your arms parallel to the floor throughout the move.

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, clasping a vertical dumbbell with both hands.
  • Keeping shoulders down, extend arms out to shoulder level in front of you.
  • Slowly rotate torso from right to left, keeping back tall and arms extended throughout.
