What is a Hybrid Mattress?

A hybrid mattress combines elements of memory foam and innerspring mattresses by using a spring core, which is covered in about 3 to 4 inches of memory foam on top. The design gives sleepers the comfort they find in memory foam mattress while providing the flexible support that comes with an innerspring model. The springs inside a hybrid typically follow a pocket coil design, which reduces motion transfer and also makes it a perfect fit for an adjustable bed.

Benefits of a Hybrid Mattress

  • This model provides a comfortable foam surface that conforms to a sleeper's body.
  • The surface helps create proper support for a sleeper's back, joints and pressure points with its spring core.
  • A hybrid mattress acts as a more affordable alternative to higher-priced memory foam mattresses.
  • It fits well with an adjustable bed so you can position your bed comfortably as you sleep, watch TV or read a book.
