What is an Eternity Ring?

Eternity rings are bands that have diamonds or gemstones embedded around the entire band of the ring. They're given as a symbol of eternal commitment. Generally, women wear them on the same finger as their wedding band and engagement ring, but they're not used only to commemorate weddings. Eternity rings come in two styles, either a full- or a half-eternity ring. Half-eternity rings have gemstones covering the face of the ring but not the underside, to give the appearance that the stones go all the way around the band. This can make them more comfortable to wear as the underside of the band will be thinner and lighter.
