Bissell  BISSELL ProHeat 2X Select Pet Upright Deep Cleaner, 94003

I have had this cleaner for probably over 2 years now. I think the rotating bristles are great! I definitely recommend using distilled water as it will clean the carpet much better. It is very hard to clean out all the insides b/c getting the band that turns the bristles back on the machine properly is very confusing & difficult. I think it is a very good cleaner overall. It doesn't leave the carpet very wet. And the wand works well too, but you have to go over the upholstry a couple of times with it to get most of the water up. The tank-in-tank feature can be a bit of a hassle--esp. taking it outside over the uneven terrain, the clean water spills into the dirty water (this would be to use it on the car upholstry)--but not too much to worry about. And the drain for the dirty water underneath the tank can result in a bit of a mess, but this is the only carpet cleaner I ever had, so maybe this design is better than what else is out there. My biggest concern is carpet cleanliness & it seems to do a very good job on that!

I've been using Bissell for some time now, I like the way you can pack it and remove the nozzle to spray and the nozzle can be removed. I trust Bissell only for my deep cleaning shampooing carpet and upholstrey.

This product is the best pet carpet cleaner there is. We just bought our second one. Two dogs sure make a mess. Cleans all pet hair up, red clay from their paws, etc. You fill it with water, add cleaning solution, put together, start cleaning. The steam cleaner loosens up the dirt and hair. Just keep putting the water on and move back and forth. Then, refill with plain water, and rinse, and the dirt and water are sucked up. The little brushes loosen and move the dirt in the carpet and the dirt comes right out. All stains come out even red juice. When dry just vacuum up and it looks great. Have used it since it came out. My family member use it also to clean their carpets. One has three and the other has one dog. What a mess with 3 especially in the red clay. Carpets came clean. They had tan carpets, and after cleaning they were tan again. I would give this a 5 star rating. Great in all catagories! Also, has an attachment for cleaning furniture. It works great. After 43 years of cleaning carpets, and buying machines, this was the best one.

Bought this cleaner to clean up after my new puppy and it works great. Very easy to use and I love that it keeps the water hot while cleaning.

was amazed how well this worked and how dirty my carpets were. A good investment and saves from having to rent or pay someone to do them

I bought this product with the intent to clean a beige colored carpet that had years of wear to it. I bought the cleaner and after vacuuming good i started out. It cleaned better than i thought and carpet looked tons better. The only thing is after so much dirt, it gets a build up in the front i had a hard time cleaning out. The attachment works well. Just becareful of the little plastic piece that holds the attachment into the upright position because i got it caught on something and it snapped off, and ended up leaking out the hose since it was not upright.

This cleaner is very effective, but set aside a good part of your day for large rooms. Edges, corners and stairs are impossible.

This machine works very well on removing stains from carpeting. It is also easier to assemble and easy to put in cleaning solution, water, etc. The only drawback, which may have to do with my old carpeting, is that sometimes threads gets caught in the spinning brush and are hard to get out.

I purchased this item to replace a 10-year-old steam cleaner, and decided on Bissell because I was so impressed with the Bissell vacuum cleaner I purchased about 5 years ago. After assembling the steam cleaner (which wasn't complicated but did take longer than it should have) I put it to use and was very impressed with how easy it is to use and the results. But the second time I went to use it, I couldn't get the sprayer to work. I'm a fairly handy person, so I took the whole thing apart figuring that dog hair was somehow clogging the spray nozzle. Eventually, I realized that the problem was getting the sprayer nozzle to engage- when I would hold the part in my hand and push the nozzle with my finger, water would drip out of the reservoir but when I put the part in the machine and held the trigger, nothing. I contacted Bissell and explained the problem, and the response I got was a list of possible solutions, none of which had anything to do with the sprayer (they were mostly troubleshooting suction problems). When I contacted Bissell a second time, they agreed to send me a replacement machine, but it took nearly 3 weeks from the time I sent my machine off until the replacement machine arrived. This machine has also brought the realization that my Bissell vacuum doesn't do as good a job as I previously thought. No matter how many time I run the vacuum cleaner over the carpet, when I start steam cleaning, the steam cleaner quickly gets clogged with dog hair and I frequently have to stop and disassemble the suction and intake parts to clean them of dog hair. Which brings to mind another consideration when purchasing this product. When I purchased this product, I was under the impression that it was kind of designed for pet owners. But the design of this steam cleaner makes it very difficult to clear of fur or any other obstructions. My old steam cleaner, it was just a matter of pulling the hair/fur loose of the brushes. With this product, I have to unscrew several sections of the lower part of the machine, and then use a straightened paperclip or some other contraption to pull the fur loose.

very nice product i got this product while potty training a puppy and no one could ever tell i had a puppy in the house it works great i love the brushes gets really deep to get the dirt out, I also have 2 teenage daughters that enjoy using it because it is so easy to use
