Black and Decker  High Performance 7.2A 14 In. String Trimmer

First, the machine uses a 0.155 trimmer line. I'm i petting the grass here or cutting grass. Second, You feed in the lines in the feeder. The feeder feeds the line out automatically, which is good, but you'll be surprised. after every 5 minutes using the edger, you spend another 7 minutes re feeding the feeder. That doesn't include the number of times it would jammed. Third, I decided to switch to a bigger caliber trimmer line, it works perfect, the feeder feeds normally, not so many jams, and it cuts better. But after a couple of uses, i noticed, it started breaking the plastic shield cover. The plastic shield cover breaks, it would start feeding line to your feet and will injured you. Of course you can go to your local store to pick up a part, but the store doesn't stock black and decker parts. You will go online and wait 2 weeks for the parts to come. your grass will have to wait 2 weeks. You can try to use after market parts compatible. Good luck with that, they don't work.

This is the 2nd trimmer I have owered, both the same model. They are wonderful and the string refills are easy to full. I would tell you if you are looking for an electric trimmer this is the one to buy

I must say I'm impressed..for being an electric weed eater this machine has power.Shaft could be longer

I had to replace the same model after 9 yrs of use. Very durable and reliable for work around my yard, This model was clearanced, so the price was too good to pass up.

Bought this weekend and Used supplied reel with line. Worked Ok but went through line very fast. Bought replacement line and tried to roll it in and very difficult. It kept jamming even though we tried several times. Good machine and great motor to cut through heavy grass. They must fix the reel mechanism to supply line. This is the 5th weed trimmer i have had and will go back to single line trimmer and not the spool.

I've used many trimmers and this one is the best. Lots of power, the line auto feed really works. I recommend the more powerful motor, it trims quickly and cleanly

I have one like this and it broke. I love it ,so I got this one.Thinking that it would be the same one . But! Only problem is that this one is shorter than the one and I had.The longer one fits be better I,m an tall person 6 feet taller. Both states 14". So you tall people watch out.

It is heavy duty it cuts right through the big weeds. It does what I need to control weeds in my yard.

We have only used this once as our mowing/edging season in Texas is over we hope. It worked great and is larger than the previous Black & Decker we had that broke.
