    Very good pressure washer so far. July 17, 2011

    I purchased this washer to clean my patio deck, which was looking real weathered. It did a very good job in bringing out the wood grain. It was just enough pressure to clean, but not damage the wood. I've also used it for other cleaning. Nice handy summertime tool.

    Poor engineering-

    Telescoping handle pinches hand whem opening & closing.

    Hose attachment is difficult, you need to purchase a "quick connect" adapter.

    Detergent dispencer is not attached to machine,you need a separate container & fit the detergent attachment line in the container. Uses a lot of detergent.

    B&D powers washer 1700 PSI, Was easy to set up, a little difficult to use, the one cord that attaches into the machine to supply water kept comming lose, The cords are long enough to let me go from the front yard to the back and both sides.  It's not too loud and has a strong spray.  I never could get the patio floor clean untill I used this.  It was a good price for the item, also not too heavy if needed to be lifted.

    Not sure If I would try this on my vehicles as it is quite powerful and would be afraid the paint would chip. also good product for the sidding on the house, especially where a long brush can not reach.

    I am a 67 year old female- I was looking for a pressure washer light enough for me to carry, but powerful enough to do the job. This unit is perfect for my needs. I removed the old finish from my deck and wood siding ( with an applied stripper ) with ease. I know I will get much use out of the washer for all my outdoor cleaning chores!

    Hose is not standard size

    I own both an gas powered & Electric powered washer thier is a big differance in what each unit works like and what each one can do and cannot do.The electric models can not be compared to a gas model unit its not fair to an electric model. As thier is the right tool for the right job electric is right for certain around the home use's cleaning cars,boats,dirtbikes, Harley,motorhome & General around the house cleaning, as decks,exterior of house, brickwork & walkways.

    professional use being paint prep, muraic acid washes, graffiti removal, heavy grease,oil deposit construction cleanup resturant and industrial.

    A gas powered 2600psi-4000psi up is more for Home & professional use. you can dial the pressure for useage from low to high (triplex pump type.)

    B&D was bought to replace prvious wornout electric 1350psi ten year old model made in italy. (But no longer in bussniess) the B&D 1700psi is about the same power it work great FOR AN ELECTRIC WASHER. The attachments are good with two tips one a rotating power nozzle the other a rotating fan to spot cleaner. FOR AN ELECTRIC WASHER IT WORKS GREAT.
