    Bosch Table Saw with Gravity-Rise Stand is accurately machined November 12, 2010

    The stand is the main assembly challenge.  The instructions were mostly very good with a couple of small exceptions that made a big difference. I got turned around and backwards and had to take it apart and put it back together a couple of times. before I had everything oriented properly.  Once together and understood, works beautifully!  Smooth and easy.  

    Now to the saw itself:  table seems to be flat and well-machined..I say seems, because I don't have anything to check to thousandths of an inch but can't see daylight under my good square.   Miter slots are parallel to the saw.  Only very minor and easy fiddling with the pointers/measures for the fence and to get the blade 90 degrees to the table.   The fence was initially quite rough and there was some scratching on the table from it.  A couple of good coats of Renaissance Wax (Johnson's wax would do) on the fence and on the table got it sliding very nicely.

    Love that it has a riving knife!  The cawls and blade guard are well-designed and easy to take on and off once you get the hang of it.  Nice hints/instructions on adding sacrificial fences and stops.  The fence has nice slots for hex bolts for this purpose.  I only wish they had pre-drilled the holes in the miter handle for adding an auxillary fence there.   Pretty fair dust collection as such saws go. Runs smoothly and it's not outrageously loud.   Seems well-made, accurate, and versatile  So far, very impressed!

    Hands down the best portable and in 9 out of 10,the best for the shop !!!!When I bought it,it made me feel as if I should by two,thats quality talking,buy this bad boyy,you wont be sadened !!
