Fully featured for the budget DSLR
Upgraded from the Canon Rebel 350D to 600D and I have to say I'm impressed. The addition of video, live view, flip screen makes this camera a true winner. The included lens (18-55mm) now has IS which helps in low light. The Rebel 600D also shares the same resolution sensor as the 60D & 7D. So you are getting a lot of camera. Pickup the thrifty fifty lens (50mm f/1.8) and 55-250mm f/4-5.6 zoom for a decent portrait & telephoto lens combo.

Close to professional!
This camera really impressed me and thats hard to do! I had tried the t2i and wasnt impressed at all. When I started shooting with the t3i I was instantly addicted! The claritly is amazing and very sharp. Shutter speed is excellent. I havent really used the video part yet, but I'm sure once I have time to sit down and learn how to do it right I will be equally impressed!
