It doesn't get any better
I've had other brands of tools over the years by leading companies also offering lifetime warranties, but channellock makes the best. Outstanding USA quality for a fair price makes this tool one you'll keep close by for a variety of jobs. I only wish I had started out with the channellock tools before I bought those other brands. Do yourself a favor and put this in your toolbox. You truly get what you pay for with channellock.

1st and best tool i own
when building my present tool collection 12 or so years ago, i first bought this exact pair of #317 channel lock pliers. after seeing my dad use his pair of long nose pliers for nearly every household job i figured this to be a good start. knowing channellock's reputation for quality i settled upon these and have never been disappointed. they have aged well and after just a squirt of wd40 after 5 or so years they are still in pristine condition. no chipping or warping is present and the blue handles are still intact like new. the teeth on the inside are still there and havent worn away after years of faithful use. i also own the 447 wire clipper and it has provided the same outstanding service. definately a must have and its made here in the U.S.A. something that seems to be hard to find these days. buy this and you wont have to buy another unless you loan it out.
