    Charbroil Infrared 4 Burner Gas Grill best value March 28, 2011

    The salesman was knowledgeable and able to answer the remaining questions our research could not provide. Although we have not yet used the grill all indications are that the Charbroil Infrared gas grill is the best value for the money, provides even heat distribution, and due to it's intense heat sears the meat sealing in the juices.

    Wonderfully bad shopping experience for an Infrared LP gas grill April 09, 2011

    I bought a Char-Broil 4-Burner Infrared LP Gas Grill last Saturday from Sears in Fort Wayne. The same day I bought a Kenmore Elite (their word, not mine) 70 pint dehumidifier (see review). I took the boxed Grill home and during assembly was less than thrilled to find that the grill had previously suffered some significant damage to the control panel, stainless wing that attaches to ctrl pnl, base and the frame that the ctrl pnl attaches to. Totally unacceptable.

    I exchanged the grill for one that was pre-assembled. I have not used it yet but the experience of having spent $700 in one day at Sears for a $399 grill, $299 "elite" dehumidifier, getting home and finding neither were worth the boxes they came in was crushing. The seemingly complacent Sears-has-replaced-your-junk-purchases-now-you-should-be-happy attitude and lack of regard for the considerable frustration and inconvenience of two unnecessary additional trips (15 miles one way) and considerable waste of my time and effort does not encourage me to shop at Sears again - ever.

    Great to cook on,beyond expectations

    I bought this grill in Sept of 2011. I was new to this type of grill since all I had ever used was a smoker/grill and your everyday standard grill. I was lucky because this one was a floor model and didn't have to put it together. And on sale. Even better. After getting it home and wipped it down, I was set to go. I had heard of the grills that had infrared but this one turned out to be wonderful. Our steaks cooked quickly and evenly. Had chicken cooking at the same time. The chicken breast were big and I honestly was expecting to see pink next to the bone and center. But no, it was perfect. And juicey. Not dry, not over cooked. Just perfect. I would definitely would recommend this grill. Its an added bonus to have the side burner. I warmed up some pork in beans while my chicken was cooking.

    The Charbroil Infrared 4 Burner Gas Grill is my first grill. Bought this about 4 months. Putting the grill together did take about 2-2.5 hours. Looks sleek and the infrared works like a charm to sear in the juices. I've cooked chicken, ribs, steaks, veggies... and all have turned out excellent. The only concern I have is rust.. I've already seen traces of it on the front and on the sides where paint has slightly chipped. This is inspite of keeping the grill covered all the time.

    Just a regular guy that loves to grill. The best grill I have ever owned bar none. The secret is out and the restaurants cannot keep this for themselves any longer. Your food will have beautiful grill marks and the meat will be so moist. I just fixed the best burgers I ever had at home. The direct flames on most grills does not apply here. If you like great grill food with the moisture and taste of great meat, get this grill. All you need is a little wood chips as prescribed in the manual and your food will be great. Watched the videos on YouTube and was excited about the Infrared after reading reviews and seeing the videos. So far I have cooked hamburgers, hotdogs, tilapia, and chicken and they have all been full of flavor and very tasty.
