New and never been used or re-sharpened, this gorgeous knife is 4 1/2 inches long (folded/fixed) and weighs approximately 3.5 ounces. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The handle is Carbon Fiber, Black G10 and Stainless Steel with a reversible tip-up pocket clip. This knife is presented with a Storage Pouch.
