Easy to use instructions for set up
I have 2 Craftsman door openers; one is new, the other 15 years old. Both have the ability to be programmed digitally (that is, no toggle switches for the remote control).
The instructions that came with the Clicker were complete and easy to understand. I only had to ascertain the color of the button on the back of each opener motor unit, and then follow the instructions. The Clicker "learned" the code the first time on each opener.
The range is good; I use this Clicker to open the garage doors from my kitchen window, which is about 30 yards/meters away from the openers, and it works every time.

Horrible range
While this remote is reliable in that it works every time, the range on it is horrendous. I sometimes can't get my garage door to close while I am still in the driveway - and my driveway is only about as long as a large SUV!
As a result, I'm getting a remote with more range and relegating this one to motorcycle duty. In its new role, I may actually appreciate the remote instead of wanting to bash it with a baseball bat.

The description on this product is misleading. It states on the front of the box that it works with ALL major brands. That may be true, but it does not work on all years and models within that brand. I have a Stanley model TT200 from 1994. According to the manual (which you don't see until you open the product) only works for the years 1976 and 1998! Now I get the hassle of having to return it. Check the manual online before buying this to see if it will work with the year of your opener so you don't make the same mistake I did.

Great Remote
This remote is really nice and not that hard to program. It is a good price for the remote. I was hesitant at first to buy it since it was not a Wayne Dalton remote but worked wonderfully for my garage door. Especially for the cold weather this remote was very helpful getting in and out of my garage.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Clicker Universal Garage Door Remote
While the item works fine, I'm very disappointed with Sears! I purchased a Craftsman1/2 horsepower Model 139.53910D. It worked fine, but then I lost one of the remote controls. When I tried to program the other one, it wouldn't work. I went to a store & a parts whse & was told that they were having many problems with this because of antenna towers. They said that It could be a bad battery. They also suggested that I Google it & maybe someone could help me on the internet. I tried all the different strategies to no avail. I am very upset that I had to spend almost $39.00 + another $5.00 for a battery (in case it was just a defective battery) because a Craftsman remote was of no use any longer through no fault of my own. Not only that, but if I bought a Craftsman Replacement Remote, it would have cost me over $45.00 + $5.00 for the battery!

Easy to setup
I found this item really easy to setup with my Genie Intellicode Garage door opener. I was worried it would not be compatible. There were a couple options for the Genie so I had to try it a couple times. But in the end I have a working garage door remote.
