What is a Convection Microwave?

A convection microwave combines the size and speed of a standard microwave oven with the thorough cooking ability of a convection oven. A convection microwave uses an interior fan to circulate heated air throughout the oven, so your food bakes and browns evenly as though it is in a full-size convection oven. Convection microwave combinations use fan-only convection heating, meaning a single fan circulates air throughout the microwave. Convection microwave combination models can be used as a convection oven, standard microwave or a combination of both.

Benefits of a convection microwave

  • Preheats so you can bake foods in addition to quick cooking
  • Fan circulates hot air throughout the microwave to allow for even cooking
