We’re always checking the FitStudio blog, and for good reason: The content is timely (For instance, “Slim Holiday Cocktails” was posted just days before Thanksgiving.), it keeps us in the know (on things like ways we can fight diabetes) and the featured workouts are super-fun. “The Shop-Til-You-Drop Workout”? Yes, please!

As we live in the Midwest, we first started following Lena Burkut’s Chicago-based blog to find out what fitness events were happening around us. But, it didn’t take long for us to realize that the site is a great resource for so much more: Centered on building a healthy, happy and active lifestyle for the family, it includes guides and how-tos we can never wait to try. Some of the more recent standouts? Making gluten-free recipes and mastering the hula hoop workout.
From the time we read her posted bio, we were hooked on Rachel Steffen’s personal blog. “I am not a woman who can always resist chocolate, wears makeup to the pool and has spotless floors all the time,” it states. “But I am strong. I am invincible.” Always one to keep it real while pushing herself hard (She recently ran her first full marathon!), this mother of three boys inspires us like no other.
