Country Living  Highland 7 Pc. Cast Dining Set

We like the size of the table, we have a large family and it accommodates us well. I bought this last spring we used it all summer then stored it in the garage this winter. I am afraid that I might be a little disappointed when we go to get it back out this season because some of the finish is starting to come off the chairs. I am not sure of the whole extent because I only uncovered one chair. Also when assembling, the instructions leave A Lot to be desired.

We bought this at the end of the season for a great deal,($500) but when we got the box open, the top chair that was supposed to be inspected according the the paper in the box was literally broken in half where the scroll  work is on the back of the chair.  When we pulled the chair out, the back literally fell out of the chair.  We will have to call Monday to order a new chair.  The bottom tabs were cracked in half on most of the chairs.  Then when you put the lumbar pillows behind your back, after sitting for a while they wok their way out and fall out the back onto the deck. You constantly have to reaadjust the pillows.  I already know that I will need to purchash pillow backs for the chairs.  Frustrating when you are so excited about getting a nice new patio set that is good quality.  I feel sorry for the people that paid full price!   I gave it two stars because it does look prettier than the glass top we had before.

My husband and I looked around for a while before we decided on this patio dining set. I saw it in a Sears store. It was more than I wanted to pay, so I decided to go online to see what else Sears had. The same set was on sale online. I was looking for a metal top table just as it was. Knowing what it looked like in person and that it was comforable, I purchased it online. Shipping was free. I gladly paid $20 extra to have it delivered in a two hour (7 am to 9 am) time frame. It came exactly on time and it was easy for my husband to put together. The chairs are stackable. I am very happy with it!! I hope it is as sturdy as it looks and lasts a long time.

You really can't tell the quality of the finish until you set it up outside. Extras that were really nice are touch up paint for future scratches, adjustable feet on the table, and great hand brushed gold accents, making it have a beautiful, expensive look. With a 7 year warranty, other comparable sets (we looked at about 10 other stores) cost at least $1,000 more than this one. We are very happy with our purchase.

I ordered this dining set online not having seen this in peron first which I don't like to do. I took a chance since it was on sale & I'm very happy with everything so far -- it was delivered on time, easy to assemble and looks beautiful. The colors & shape of the pillows are different but add a lot of style to my deck. My husband likes the swivel chairs and my kids love the lumbar cushions. I've only had it a couple of weeks so I don't know how well it will hold up over time but so far I am happy with my purchase.

Fairly easy to assemble. The 4 non-swivel chairs are COMPLETELY preassembled. Our set was missing all the hardware to one of the swivel chairs. We called the manufacturer and were told it would take 7-14 days to get the parts. After about 10 days, I called and was told that the parts shipped that day. I'm not happy about that delay, especially that I wasn't informed about it. We also were missing ALL the caps that go on the bottom of the 4 non-swivel chairs. The manufacturer didn't even estimate when they might be able to ship those. Price is about as low as you can get for a cast aluminum set of this size, though. Just hope the parts make it here someday.

This set is on the cover page of the SEARS Simply Outdoors brochure and looks great. However, looks are deceiving! The construction quality is extremely poor. The second time I sat in the swivel-rocker all the spot welds broke loose, and the fancy scroll-work chair back fell off! The lumbar support pillows always fell out of the opening in the chair backs and ended up on the deck. The chairs are very uncomfortable. I'm planning on returning the set for a full refund.

Pros: Looks nice, comes with lumbar pillows, rust-free, 7-year warranty Cons: Very poor quality The way these chairs are manufactured is problematic - the nice design on the backs of the chairs is a standalone piece that is welded to the chair. The major issue is that the welded points break easily. We have had to replace two chairs already, due to the backs completely falling out. The good news is that they replaced both chairs fairly easily (you email a description and a photo). It has a 7-year warranty, so any future problems should be taken care of, as well. In terms of satisfaction, I'm definitely satisfied because they do honor their warranty and replace the chairs; I just can't give it more than 3 stars since it is manufactured so poorly.

I just purchased this set and took it over to my river home and just love it. The swivel chairs are my favorite. Please keep in mind the set is not super heavy so if you have high winds be prepared to chase down your chairs and pillows. I would highly recommend this set.

Got this set and we are not happy with it at all or I should say we are not happy with the cushions. I called manufacture about this problem. When you set on the patio chair the bottom cushion squeezes down and the lumbar cushion pops out the back need thicker cushions. But they were not any help to us or Sears. I will never shop at sears again for paying what we payed for the set you think the cushions would not pop out the back just not right. I give the cushions no stars.
