    Aluminum Jack was priced right. May 18, 2010

    I just purchased a Craftsman Aluminum Jack and I was very pleased with the price.  I have purchased a jack similiar  to this before and decided I needed another one.  The jack was priced at $169.99 but when I got to the checkout, it was just $139.99.  I was very pleased and I know the jack will give me years worth of trouble free use because it is a Craftsman product.

    JUNK OF A JACK February 19, 2010

    After 6 months my jack is leaking oil.  No parts are available.  No refunds either.  Made in CHINA.  Craftsman is not what is used to be.  Also I was given a full set (300 count) of tools for Christmas. I didn't notice till I opened up.  Very light weight steel.  Complete set was less than 30 lbs.  My old tool bag is heavier with 1/3 the tools. Watch it!!!

    I have owned this jack for 2 years and it has slowly started not lifting my truck and mowers up and now it won't lift anything it is leaking oil badly. I would not recommend this jack.

    Pros:
    Easy to use.,light weight,goes very low, 3.5,light is very helpful

    I needed a light weight floor jack that would go very low to get under the lift pads on my C6 Corvette. This one does that easily, and the light really helps to position the jack exactly under the round rubber lift pads. It lifted the car easily and held its position while I removed and washed the wheels and wheel wells. It appears very well made, and works great, and looks great, too. It's not for commercial use, obviously, but will work great for occasional home use without taking up much garage floor space. You can easily control the rate of descent by very slowly and carefully turning the handle counter clockwise. I'm very pleased with it. I recommended it to my brother-in-law to use on his Corvette.

    cheaply built warranty sucks

    after 4 months of use the saddle broke off of jack I still continued to use it and then a wheel broke off of it..... the led lighting on it is great till you jack a car up with it and it breaks and no longer works. Very disappointed with it. The warranty was also a joke after 90 days you have to call a number to get it warrantied when it says right on the box 1 year in store warranty.... Oh well  what do you expect from an in expensive piece of equipment.

    I bought this jack because I lowered my Car and couldn't lift it with my older Michelin Jack. It does fit nicely or lowered cars but my god it drops my car so dang quick, its OUT RIGHT DANGEROUS. Maybe I got a bad version and should take mine in but I can't believe that behaves this way.
