Craftsman Hand Tool Guarantee is why I buy Craftsman
This was a replacement for a very much used and worn screwdriver that I purchased in 1970. It was not broken but the blade was rounded at the end allowing the screw driver to cam out of screw slots. Was replaced no questions asked. This is what is great about Craftsman brand tools.

My Favorite Screw Driver
Do you have a "go to" screwdriver when you open your tool box? Well this one is mine. After years of use and miss-use, the tip busted... so I took it back to Sears and they replaced it... no questions asked. With the free replacement policy, it is like the perpetual perfect screwdriver.

I have only positves to say about Craftsman screwdrivers. Strong, with sharp points that grip well into screws. My toolbox has a few non-craftsman screwdriver that never work and often times bend, an issue seldom experienced with Craftsman. The 1/4 by 6 is one of my most frequesntly used as it is small enough for many screws and large enough for others.

Don't make them like they used to...
I went shopping for screwdrivers over the weekend. I thought the ones at the store didn't look right. They didn't. When I got home, I looked at my existing 1/4" screwdriver, model 41584 (exact same number). It has a ground, not stamped, tip. Much better quality than what I saw at the Sears store.

Excellent screwdriver
I had this screwdriver for over 10 years and the tip finally chipped when trying to turn a rusted on screw. Thanks to the lifetime warranty, I took the broken screwdriver back to the store and got another one. I will be very happy if this one lasts half as long as the first one. So many of my off brand screwdrivers have broken or rounded tips but the Craftsman screwdrivers last for a long time.
