118 piece tool set
Bought two of these for my two teenage sons. Every Christmas we give them tools so they will have a full set when they leave out on their own. We picked this set because it contained all the different sockets a person may need around the house.
I also like the fact that it has it's own carrying case which will help keep everything organized.
Not sure if my sons currently understand the importance of having tools but they will in the future.

Not as big as the box
Really good quality, plenty of tools to meet most needs. Just two complaints: first, given the size of the box, you might expect large tools. These aren't large--the two ratchet sizes are medium (3/8) and small (1/4). For $20 more (when I was looking) you can get the 154 piece set with 1/2" drive as well. My other complaint (related) complaint is that the box is much bigger than it needs to be. But it's a nice sturdy box.

Craftsman not as good as it once was!
Would have been 1 stars, bought at 50% off so I can live with the bags of sockets. the 2x 11/32's 1/4 drive, no 3/8 x 1/4 drive, sockets with no markings, you get the idea! Been buying Craftsman tools for over 45 years, their tools are not what they once were!

A Nice Starter Tool Set
Great starter set. I purchased this set for my Son's Birthday. He has few tools, so I wanted to get a set that would cover many applications - and this set does - and best of all . . it' a Craftsman. :) Don't be afraid to get this great set.

118 pc mechanic tool set
Bought this new from Sears.com. Two parts were missing upon opening the package - poor quality. Carry box is grossly oversized and could have been designed to be alot smaller for better portability. Sockets are nicely labeled. Ratchet handles seem flimsey.

Great set of tools but...
I like the tools when it came and it just had like everything I needed. I didn't have issues putting the different tools into the allocated slots but I was kind of disappointed that the box did not have a holder for the 14pc Allen keys. Great price for this piece of tools set and I would have given it a 5 star if not for the lack of a holder for the Allen keys.
