This tool is of no use to an electrician as it is a poor design!
I purchased this tool previously ,excited that sears had finally produced an extended length allen /hex wrench set to be used on my ratchets. Upon my first need for use of it ,I became extremely disappointed!!! 1. Some of the smaller sizes were 1/4" drive ,which I hadn't noticed when I was buying it../drive sizes shouldn't vary in one package! 2. The size of the tip did not remain constant throughout the length of the shaft.../I work with breakers that have lugs recessed ,and need for example a 3/16" hex wrench to be 3/16" diameter the entire length of the shaft!! These are 3/16" at the ball tip ,and then enlarge to 1/4" diameter for the shaft; therefore I cant fit it in the hole to reach the lug! 3. They never manufacture an allen/hex wrench set with adequate sizes to satisfy an electricians needs!!!../ We electricians need sizes all the way up to 1/2" !! the sizes we most commonly use are...1/8" ,3/16" ,1/4" ,5/16" ,3/8" ,7/16" ,& 1/2" 4. Ball tips don't work for an electrician.../The lugs we electricians tighten are generally made of aluminum.. It is necessary for these lugs to be heavily tourqued ,and the ball tip reduces the metal to metal surface area contacted and therefore is prone to stripping the lug! 5. In conclusion, these may be wonderful for a mechanic, but are of absolutely no use to an electrician!!! My hopes are that this review reaches sears manufacturing ,and that they contact me to discuss designs that would make satisfied customers of a few million electricians...

Another great tool(s) from Craftsman. This set is a must if you put your own brakes on your car. But has other uses , I am sure. Great set for your tool box!
