    I have bought one for everyone in the family to keep in their car. Never had a problem with any of them. I have used them in the cigarette lighter and the extra outlets in the vehicles. We have had no issues and use them alot. We have also used it many times to blow up inflatable rafts and things for our son.

    The cigarette power adapter broke June 04, 2009

    I agree with all of the other poor reviews for this product. At first it worked great. Then after about the 5th use, the cigarette power adapter broke off and I can't find the pieces to it. It is now useless as it takes a special power adapter. I didn't even know that the adaptor had broken off until I really needed this unit on a trip. It was then that I saw that the adapter had broken apart and I had to find a service station instead. Several other people in the reviews have said the same thing about their unit so I know my situation is not unique.

    I had this for 12 years now, and it still works ok. It's easy to connect to tires, never had problems there. It vibrates a lot while inflating - to read the gauge you have to shut it down, even so the accuracy is not good. What good is a 300psi scale if usual tires require ~30-35psi? The compressor heats up fast - the manual recommends doing long pause after using it 5 min. The power connector broke off, as other commenters said. Good thing I got all the pieces and duct taped it back. If I were to buy another compressor, I'd look elesewhere.

    The portable tyre inflator is a great tool as can be used at anytime anywhere on the way when the tyre flattens.Seems handy and compact and affordable too I guess and Must be in every car because AIR in tyre is most vital element without which nothing can run and can not be treasured too!!!

    So far it has worked ok, I'm extra careful with it because afterall it is a 40 dollar (pretty cheap) tool. You do get what you pay for, so extra care is in order if you want to get some life out of it.

    Cons:
    bad adapter.

    The weak link in this product is the power adapter. Mine fell apart, apparently this happened to a lot of folks, and I had to buy a replacement from *********** for $8.00. I'd look elsewhere. Bill
