    I Want To Rock Right Now March 24, 2009

    I bought a Craftsman trimmer a few years ago and everytime I did my yard I would get hit with the little pebbles that were in the grass. Well, the old got broken and I waited a whole year to buy another one. I was looking on Sears.com and looked in the lawn and garden section, and there it was but the price was a little too high at the time. Several days later I went back on the site and it was on sale but I didn't have the money. I thought that it went off sale so I thought that I missed out on it. I got some funds in February and it was still on sale so I got it. I used it on the second week in March and it was great. The shield it was towards the back of it is wonderful. It protected me from the flying stone and I was happy. Plus it has the wheel that can be turned to become an edger was another good plus. Get it before they run out.

    I'm taking this back to the store September 22, 2008

    I want a refund or replacement!! The line keeps getting tangled no matter how many times or ways I rewind it. It works fantastic for about 3 feet (cuts through anything) and then the line gets jammed and it stops working. Very frustrating! It's going back to the store for a refund. I liked the junky $20 Craftsman that I had for three years better. It wasn't as powerful but at least it worked for more than 3 minutes at a time. Don't waste your money.

    Uses way too much line. Need to fill spool at least once for each use. Continuous feed is not a good concept. Now it won't cut the line, so it becomes tangled and useless. When working, it does a great job edging.

    I bought this trimmer as it had the wheel when used as an edger. That part worked fine, nice feature. However, after using twice, I am off to buy a different brand. The automatic line feed either jams or throws out way to much line. After two uses the spool is empty. When I did use it, I had to stop every few feet and manually pull out more line, other times it would spit out way too much line and jam up. You get what you pay for.

    I purchased the trimmer on Sunday. The line jammed multiple times. I had to unplug the trimmer, then take the cap off, place the line through the hole, plug it again. It worked excellent for a minute, then had to do process again and again and again until I gave up. I'm taking it back.

    The top will not stay secured to the shaft of the unit, the 'tightening' collar doesn't lock it in.
