The larger bits function well. Some of the smaller bits are wobbly. For this price, I'd expect all the bits to stay straight when rotating at high speed.

FORGET ABOUT THESE BITS THEY WILL NOT EVEN DRILL A HOLE IN PINE MORE THAN 3 TIMES AND IF YOU PUSH A LITTLE IT SNAPS THE BIT. NO WONDER NO WARRANTY FOR THESE

CHEAP bits, dulled after single use
I was excited to finally find a decent sized set of quick-release bits that weren't black oxide. However, I was shocked when I saw how fast they dulled. After only 5-10 holes in pine and for another bit, a SINGLE hole in poplar, the bits had already been dulled and were hard to use. My DeWalt black Oxide bits I was replacing lasted far longer and I was already disappointed in those. I wouldn't recommend buying these bits unless you enjoy wasting money or simply want them to sit on a shelf and look pretty. I'm officially DONE with Craftsman. It's a shame that such a once-revered american brand has been reduced to what it is today.

Snapped the tip off the 1/4 inch bit on first usage. Went down a size. Snapped the tip off it. No warranty on drill bits.

Why can't I purchase a Speed-Lok set which includes all sizes?
I'm an electrician who is happy with the quality and ease of use of the Speed-Lok drill bits. But WHY can't I purchase a set which includes the 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2" sizes also, instead of having to buy them seperately? I prefer to have have all similar bits in ONE place and in the SAME set without having to rifle through my tool boxes to locate each individual one !!! -WH
