    Pros:
    works well,heavy duty
    Cons:
    could be easier to assemble

the only downside is the assembly instructions could be clearer in some areas. the blade works well i have sued to for light dozing and snow removal. you will find that you  are traction challeneged right away when using out in the yard! wheel weights are a HUGE help going to go to AG tires this spring...would buy agian and reccomend to others. this is much heavier than other blades i have seen available and is worth the extra money

I bought this snow dozer becuase of how long are driveway was. The first year it worked really well. Over the time of it sitting in the summer time the cable that adjust the blade became frail. So when the big snow storms hit this year in 2007 I had to manualy turn the blade by getting off the lawn tractor to adjust the blade. If you have the money and don't have a dirt driveway I would recomend the snow thrower. The snow dozer will work with the heavy snow but you will need the tire weights and chains in oder to push. Also before you purchase you snow dozer make sure your engine size is at the requirements or better. I would recomend better.

Beginning the 13th year with this attachment. Used for snow removal and some rock, soil and sand grading on a small Midwest acreage. 600' of asphalt driveway easily cleared. Have replaced wear plate, cable and miscellaneous hardware over the years. Very pleased.

Much better than I thought possible October 28, 2006

Well, I was certainly sick of paying to have my 200ft+ driveway plowed all the time and was looking into a full size plow for my 4wd, but did not want to sepnd that much. I have a 27hp dyt 4000 and figured that would be a large enough tractor to plow with. I was a bit skeptical though because I could not find any info regarding others plowing with a similar set-up, so I figured it may not be a good solution. Anyway, I got the wheel weights, plow and tire chains on clearance. set up was about 2-3 hours max. i was surprised after the first time plowing. It did really well, without much effort at all. The plow is easily manipulated with the hand controls. The tire chains make a big difference in the snow/ice. I can plow 6in of snow without any trouble, even uphill! I will say the trip spring for the plow is weak and trips before you can put too much weight on it. I often use a tie-down to keep it from moving and have bent the top of the plow (slightly) as a result. I have also moved earth/gravel with it and it worked well with the trip spring tied down. for a small plow/ tractor set-up, its well worth the money, only drawback is you have to do it yourself!
