    Craftsman cordless combo blower and polesaw is a steal October 19, 2010

    What are you waiting for? $40 and free shipping what a deal. Even if you dont really need it, this combo set would look awesome just hanging in your garage.

    Seriously, i dont know why Sears has any of these left at this price. The blower alone is $90 and the saw is $130.

    To top off this awesome find, this stuff is great! Works fantastic for what it is. Super convenient, has hardware for hanging/storage, works well, looks great and most of all IT'S CHEAP! I would expect any guy with a yard would like to own this.

    A lot of people expect too much out of a cordless tool. Cordless is made for convenience not power. For that quick cleanup, hangup or fixup you cant beat a cordless tool but it is what it is, your not going to be able to use these tools for hours and hours without a recharge and for that "big" job you should really invest in a gas or electric tool.

    I am a contractor so i pretty much have a decent idea of how a tool should perform and last, so i consider myself a "worthy advisor" in this area. If you think you could use either one of these items and feel like kinda treating yourself to a cool new tool. Go ahead and drop the $40 on this combo, i promise you will be happy at this price. UNLESS, it totally doesnt work then  you will have no trouble returning it to your local Sears store for a full refund. So, what ARE you waiting for?

    Obviously, you can tell from my review i am very happy with this purchase. I normally dont have this kind of free time to spend 15 min writing a review but  i feel an obligation to spread the word on "this one". Hope this helps.

    You Get What You Pay For ! November 14, 2010

    The Blower works for 10 to 15 minutes.

    The Saw works for about the same time...or less. 

    Then you must place the batter back into the charges. 

    I imagine if I want to work in the yard for ten minutes, this would be fine. I found my rake and sharp hand saw to be more (time) reliable. 

    These products are eXceptional for the little jobs; however, if it were noted by the seller that the battery life is so short, I may not have purchased one for me and one for my son and his wife. 

    If the battery could be extended to a decent period, I think these would be worth every penny and more.

    Noteworthy, my wife found this to be a bit heavy. A little youthfulness may be required.

    Easy to assemble, easy to charge, works great for small branches. it is not meant to be for cutting trees, adjustable feature is nice to reach those hard to reach branches. only drawback is the battery does not stay charge more than 20 minutes so keep charger around while you clear branches.

    Just got mine the other day. Blower is more than ample for clearing leafs, blowing light snow off my car or even the edge of the roof. And for those interested, I just bought a 2nd blower motor kit and.... get this for $2.93, yes 2.93 at my local POUGHKEEPSIE sears that had about 5 on clearance.  Can't go wrong especially if you burn the motor out by acccident.  For 43 bucks and no shipping, can't go wrong. Have yet to use the trimmer but I am sure it will handle small limbs.  I am not sure why the trimmer only with batter is being sold for 89 on this sears web site when this combo is 79 for both normal price as both seem to be the similar model.

    For $40 I didn't expect much. I charged the battery and took it out to trim a tall shrub, saw off a couple of dead branches. It was able to do this and kept up a charge long enough to remove quite abit of brush hanging around the yard. Probably lasted more than 35 or 40 minutes of hard use on the first charge. Not bad...
