    Craftsman Combo Kit 19.2 Volt April 04, 2011

    I have had this set for about 5 or 6 years. I haven't had to replace a battery yet. They still hold a great charge and the tools have never failed me. Craftsman tools are really good in quality and this set has not let me down. I used my saw for putting up drywall and shelving in my garage and building a couple of book shelves for my son's room. After years of ownership, my blade is still as good as new.

    I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I'm an amatuer and even I can tell the difference between a good product and a bad one. this is defintely worth investing in.

    Beware KIt does not Contain Lithium- Ion Batteries May 12, 2009

    After seeing the C3 19.2 volt  Sears tool kits heavily advertized with long lasting fast charging Lithium-Ion batteries.  Today I purchased a 5 trool combo kit, and now upon opening the box with excitement to find the two  lithium-ion  batteries ( 9-17300), I found none.  How can Sears say they can be trusted??  Instead  the combo kit had Two Craftsman Diehard batteries which I presume are their normal everyday Ni -cad ( there's no identification of battery type I can find on the battery other than CS0843. and the battery number 130279005.  Needless to say , I'm totally ticked off.  After waiting and studying the merits of Lithium-Ion  Batteries, and I finally make a purchase with Sears who I thought I could trust in not using bait and switch tactics.  I've been had, never to trust Sears again..  I'm Big Time Disappointed.

    I am a maintance supervisor for 250 unit apartment comples so I have to have reliable tools you cant beat the 19,2 volt tools i use them every day and not once have they let me down I keep them in the trunk and they hold a great charge for weeks the saw saw is really tough and the drill just keeps going had them for years worth every penny use the ion batterys they last longer

    This set has made completing tasks around the house much quicker and easier, it brings more enjoyment to finishing my chores list than ever. Battery pack is nice and heavy so the Drill and Impact sit upright just waiting to be grabbed for use then easily set back down in a ready position.

    I have found a use for every tool that came in the bag. The only thing I can think of to improve on, is having an extra battery and a double charger. Also the box and the associate both said the reciprocating saw would some with a blade, it did not :(
