New small wet/dry vac model
I bought this model because I like vacuums and I like the Craftsman ones especially. I bought this wet/dry vac because it is a new model compared to the old model round one (113.177135). This new model (113.175110) is oval shaped and comes with two attachments The old one came with 3. I have used this vacuum in my car and it has good suction like the old one did. But here are some things that are good and bad about this new model:
Pros:
New Design looks better
Attachments seem a little bit more sturdier.
Uses the inexpensive filters that the old one used and they last a long time.
Has a little bit more power. The old one had 1.5 and this new one has 1.75.
The gallon size is a little bit bigger also, the old one was 2 gallons and this new one is 2.5 gallons.
Cons:
It does not have the attachment storage that the old one had at the top of the handle.
It did not come with a dusting brush, but I had one on hand.
The hose seems a little bit cheeper compared to the old one. It is still as flexible has the other one though.
Hose is still as short as the old one.
Performance:
The suction on this model is good on this model like the old one.
The blowing is as strong as the other one also.
Overall I do like this product and I still kept the old model because I like crafsman products.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Review of the Sears Craftsman 2.5 gallon wet/dry vac
May 20, 2012. I just bought a Sears Craftsman 2.5 gallon wet-dry vac, Model 113.176110. I like the size for portability. Understand that this 1.75 peak HP motor will not have quite the blowing or sucking capacity of a larger model, but for portability purposes it's fine. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the short electric cord and the EXTREMELY short vacumn hose of four (4) feet! Unfortunately, this "cheapness" in the length of these types of items are rampant on any / all electric devices sold in America now. Short hoses & electric cords. It is everywhere. By shortchanging the consumer on these types of items, all manufactures get to produce cheaper goods to make thier profit. Every consumer nowadays in America has to purchase additional auxilary hoses and extension cords as a matter of every day life. What one perceives as a good value is immediately thrown out the window because of the additional aftermarket puchase of longer hoses or extension cords to make the product viable. A sad state of affairs. So when you buy this product, factor in an addition $20 for a ever-so-slightly-longer vacumn hose that you are forced to buy to make use of this product. I trust you already have extension cords on hand.

Great for small jobs/car detailing
This little vac is great for vacuming your car and to carry around to suck up dust on baseboards, chair railings, dust on tv's and other type surfaces. I highly recommend you purchase the micro accessory kit which is designed for this size vac. Good for getting into car vents and the smallest nooks and crannies that the crevice just can't reach. Pleasently surprised at the blowing power as well. I blowed away dirt and leaves from the driveway. Warning!!! Don't buy the 5 pc car accessories kit. It will not fit on this vac. It only fits on vacs with 2-1/2 inch hoses. I found out the hard way.

I needed a vacuum with a hose, so I decided to give this one a try. I was disappointed to discover that the wands are sold separately. I didn't want to crawl around on the floor, so I had to buy them. It's okay if you don't need a heavy-duty vacuum.

2-1/2 gallon shop vac
We wanted a small (1 gallon) shop vac but couldn't find one so we bought this one. While it does a great job, it tips over too easily and we wish it had a place to store the attachments.

This is NOT a SHOP VAC!
Sadly, Craftsman no longer means quality. It has the quality I've come to expect from Sears, lightweight and made of cheap plastic. The hose doesn't fit any dust ports.? The hose storage is a joke.? The hose sticks out past the vac a good foot but not quite long enough to tie it.? It has no tool attachment storage! To not lose them, I have to store them in the bottom and remove them each time I use this. Because it's lightweight, it tips over a lot. A 10' cord means you almost need to carry this in your hand.? If you need a 'Shop Vac' keep looking.
