    Great Buy May 07, 2008

    I used my income tax return to buy this product. was a excellent buy for the price. pulls my craftsman cart loaded with wood with no problem. great at cutting grass as well. I would buy this again. Lots of power for hills and mowing. Craftsman always the best purchase for anything

    Don't buy this tractor. June 26, 2008

    Don't buy this tractor. This tractor quit running after ten minutes from the time it was taken out of the box. The relay sensing a driver under the seat quit working. A service rep came out without a part, said it will take another week to get the part. Are you kidding me? Three weeks time from the tractor was ordered till the time I finally get it running is totally unacceptable! Besides the relay problem, when the engine did work, it ran very rough coughing black smoke. After literally hours of being on the phone trying to resolve this problem, I have decided that Craftsman products are not for me.

    unlevel cut,steering wheel sloppy

    I have always owned Craftsman Lawn Tractors-in fact, almost all Craftsman Power Equipt. at my house. The engine seized after a little over 2 years of service-and I am **** about keeping the oil changed, and checking the oil. I now have a 1300.00 piece of junk sitting in my garage. It has the Briggs 20hp Intek engine. FWIW-it never really cut the lawn level, either. I will NEVER purchase another Craftsman Tractor. The last few items I have purchased from Sears do not seem to last. I also have a broken self propelled push mower that doesn't work, the carb fell off my edger, and the muffler fell off the new weed eater.

    I bought this tractor last year, so far so good. This is my first tractor. I've always wanted one when I was a kid. Can't complain yet, hopefully it'll last me about 10 years before it breaks down.

    I have owned this tractor for less than 1 year and the engine seased up. I have a warranty and a new motor has to be put in. I was cutting my lawn and stopped to fill it with gas. Tried starting and would not start. Called sears and servise tech was sent out 7 days later. He said the engine is shot. This could take up to 10 days.
