    Makes clippings ultra-fine and is a direct fit. September 26, 2011

    I use my push mower 1-2x per week for about a half-hour at a shot.  It's a mulch or bag mower, and most of the time I use it just for mulching.  Since Autumn is comming, I am starting to get some leaves on the ground and this blade not only mulches grass well, it's also killer on the falling leaves.  I also feel I get more grass to fit in my bagger.  It's a very good blade and an ok price.  AYP/Sears/Other Brands blades can be found most anywhere these days, but this one seems to be the best for mulching.

    Is this Blade #33275, 76, or 77? July 03, 2009

    Since Sears won't tell us the model of this blade, I will assume it's the 33276. The description seems to fit the blade's actual description (but I could be wrong). This is an optional blade that replaces the Precision Cutting blade, #406706, that came stock on my 2009 Craftsman #38906 675 series Platinum rotary mower (it's a non propelled, all black deck and motor, 3-in-1, 6.75 ft-lb torque, with large rear wheels). I have read one other review about this blade elsewhere, and it was rated VERY poorly. However, that person was disappointed with the bagging performance. It is important to know that a 3-in-1 mower, which cuts and discharges the clipping 3 different ways (Mulch, Side discharge, or rear bag) asks a lot from its single blade which must perform 3 different functions. It is unlikely that a single blade will do all these jobs well. Luckily, most Craftsman mowers are very easy to exchange blades. All you need is a pair of heavy cloves and the correct wrench. My advice is, if you are considering one of these blades, buy it directly from a Sears store, not on-line, so you can immediately return it if it doesn't do what it says.
