    Craftsman 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Blower/Vac does the job well December 23, 2010

    Two thumbs up! I live in the Pacific NW and have several large deciduous trees that I usually have to handle in the rain throughout the fall and winter. This year 2010, my Craftsman gas blower/vac I purchased back in 1996 finally died after 15 seasons of serious leaf work. While I looked at all competitors who make similar models, I was very pleased to see that you were still offering these great yard tools at a price that beats them all. After reviewing the feedback on this and other blowers you sell, I had some initial concerns. Frankly, there is nothing negative that I can write about this blower/vac. It starts easily, runs strong, and has very little emission smoke. Above all, it does the job well. Strong work again Craftsman!

    Craftsman 25cc 2-cycle gas USELESS Blower/Vac December 07, 2010

    This unit starts very easily, too bad it doesn't keep running.  If you try to raise the revs to operating speed, it stalls, if you try to leave it at idle speed, it stalls.  The only way to keep it running is to constantly, quickly, squeeze and rlease the trigger.  BUT, and it is a big but, as soon as you try to suck up any leaves, IT STALLS.  This useless unit has more stalls than a horse-racing stable. USELESS!!! USELESS!!!

    Blower lasted less than two years. Motor locked up and needs piston, cylinders and rod. Repair is estimated at $124.00 almost the cost of new. Will never purchase Craftsman tools again. First and last Craftsman tool from Sears. Recommend to not purchase. Plan to buy a Stihl.

    Difficult to start. Loses suction power and mulching ability on frequent basis. I purchased one and it quit working. Took back exchanged for a new one. Had some of the same issues. Very hard to start with limited suction & mulching power.

    As advertised, this blower starts fine when it's cold but once it warms up it is almost impossible or impossible to get started. I attempted to use it 5 times and got so irritated that I took it back - along with a Craftsman Weedeater I hadn't even taken out of the box. Then I went and purchased a Stihl brand blower. I had used Stihl power tools in my previous job and never experienced any trouble with them and I purchased several different types including weedeaters and blowers. Nope, I will not buy another Craftsman Power Tool - I don't think. In all fairness, I own many Craftsman hand tools and they're great. Plus, I purchased a Craftsman Wet/Dry Vac over 20 years ago. It's been used and abused and still works great. Craftsman just doesn't make very good blowers.

    It works! The instructions for assembling it and operating it are clear and easy to follow. (Not always true: I've just junked a cell phone because I couldn't figure out how to operate it and in response to my query, the manufacturer sent me a 140-page service manual!)
