    Lightweight Champion September 26, 2006

    This trimmer is without a doubt the best trimmer I've ever owned. I am in the lawncare business and I don't have time to mess around with inferior products. I bought this trimmer almost three years ago and still works like it did on day one. It is a lightweight trimmer at only 9 lbs. It will cut through most weeds and small plants with minimal effort. I like this model so well that I bought two more so that my employees and I can really go at it and get the job done. One of my customers has a 2 mile+ electric fenceline and has me keep it trimmed so that the weeds don't detract voltage from the fence. Between my employees and I, we can have it done in less than an hour. The only trouble I have ever had with this trimmer was on a hot summer day (102 degrees) I was trimming for well over an hour and it started to overheat. Other than that, it has been a very reliable, easy to use, lightweight trimmer.

    Get What You Pay For = CHEAP August 20, 2008

    VERY disappointed .. didn't even last two years! Light duty use around my lawn. 1st year ran OK, but would stall regularly at idle and line feed was erratic ... annoying but usable considering it was one the cheapest you can buy. Stored properly over winter, This is the 2nd year I've owned it and ... only runs on choke, full rpm, then stalls! Won't idle or run normally. I have 20 years experience working on 2 and 4 stroke motors. I've tried everything but replacing the carburetor, which at $31 + shipping is almost half the cost of new one, so why bother! With 4 stroke models becoming more common do yourself a favor, spend the extra $ and get one. Mixing oil/gas is always hassle and 2 strokes are finicky (and noisy) by design.

    Have to keep stopping the trimmer to untangle the string in the spool. Spool is difficult to get the string wound on correctly. Spool is difficult to load without the string coming undone. The trimmer won't even start half the time. This evening, I just plain gave up. I've had it one month and am about ready to throw it into the street. I'm going to ask for a refund.

    I used this trimmer on the first try and it started right up with no problems I like the bump feed line on the string and also I like the trottle and lot's of power for a 25cc Engine great product Sears I like it alot I use it around my little yard and it works great....I alot bought a 2 year warranty for $14.00 Dollars so if anything goes wrong with it I can get it fixed for free I like that idea...

    i have had my edger for about 5 years now and it is great.it starts up good and works excellent.i have know complaints.it does a great job.
