    Sturdy and durable, even used March 17, 2011

    I got this box used because I was overrunning another Craftsman set. It had been dropped and gotten wet and a tad rusty, and it still works great. All the slides work perfect, the lock is good, aside from the wear it functions like new. Definitely a great addition to my garage, my hand tools are happy in their new home.

    Don't buy this junk December 30, 2009

    If you ever drop this "tool chest" it will fold up like a paper doll. The material they use to make these is so thin that it has no strength what-so-ever. Go out and fine a brand at ****** or ********** that has a thicker gauge steel used to insure a box that can withstand the rigors of the work shop. This one cannot. The locking mechanism is a joke and you will bend the draw handles just pulling out the draw when the locking system sticks in the "lock" position. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

    This was part of the 3 piece set I bought on the Sears Day sale so I paid a bit less than normal list price. For the money it is a good box. A couple of the drawers seem to hang up a little when I first try to pull them out but this may just be from being new? The construction is good quality for this price range and it is a good looking piece. I compared it to the similar priced box at ********** and thought this was a little bit better- seems to be slightly heavier metal and the drawers are smoother.
