    Good value vs. price August 16, 2010

    This 7 Drawer Tool Chest is a great value for the average home owner/handy man. It provides a great way to get organized. The 7 drawers make finding smaller tools easy without having to dig to the bottom of a standard tool box. The only drawback is that is doesn't have ball bearing drawer slides. If you put too many heavy tools in a drawer the drawer tends to be difficult to open (binds slightly). To compensate for this I would suggest putting some grease on the drawer slides. This made them slide much more freely.

    Stay Away from this pile of GARBAGE! June 02, 2010

    This box is very cheap and flimsy. This uses the very inconvenient bars that must be manually put in place every time you lock the box.  Sears INTENTIONALLY misleads you by not having the bars installed in the picture.  I bought a set of boxes online, for the lower price, and discovered that this one uses two bars when I got them home.  It was too late to get something else since I was starting my new job just a few days later.

    This is of very poor quality. This is a piece of JUNK!  The drawers hang up all of the time even when lightly filled.  The "chrome" trim on the top row of drawer handles keep sliding side-to-side interfering with the other drawers.

    I will continue to purchase Craftsman tools, but I will never again purchase a "CRAPSMAN" Toolbox.  The quality of these seems to decline every year.

    Just bought this top tool chest with a 5 drawers bottom chest.  I do agree with other reviewer's comments about the quality of this chest is a bit on the low side.  To be fair, where can you find a tool chest at this price? May be at HXXXXX FXXXXXX but their quality is further lower.

    The chest is easy to assembly and the top chest can sit on the bottom chest without any problems. The tool chest feels a bit filmsy and easily got dented.  So, please touch with caution!

    I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. The price was great, so I got it really early.

    Don't really have any pros or cons at this time, will have to wait till after Christmas.

    The trim on all the drawers are loose. It arrived with a small dent but was not worth effort to return it. It does have lots of room for stuff.

    Drawers have a tendency to bind,Non-Ball Bearing Drawer slides

    Looks good, however, I wish I would have spent the extra dollars for the ball bearing drawer slides. Had to return it the second day I had it because two drawer slides did not work properly. I know I'll have trouble with drawer slides when drawers are full. You get what you pay for.
