    Amazing May 10, 2011

    I work at Sears and own several power products. This is the first product I felt I had to write about. Pressure Washers are amazing and this Craftsman is even more amazing. I am surprised how much a pressure washer cleans and how effortless it is. I bought an old fashioned srubbing broom to clean my patio. It was back breaking labor but I thought my deck looked better. But after using my pressure washer on my patio, I realized how much dirt, mold and grime was still on it. The Craftsman pressure washer made my patio look new again. You won't believe how much dirt came out of the cement. The pressure washer isn't the only thing that saved me hours or labor. The surface scrubber saved me even more time and is a must have if you are cleaning a patio. It was so easy to use. This Crafsman Limited Edition has a couple of unique features. Quiet Sense makes the engine idle when you aren't pulling the trigger making it quieter. No more annoying the neighbors. And the 5 in 1 selector nozzle made it easy and fast to change settings. So for my first product review, I can't rave enough about pressure washers in general and especially this Craftsman Limited Edition. Not only did it do the job and save me a lot of time. It was actually very fun to use. Easily my favorite tool in my garage. Every household should have one. I can't wait to clean my garage floor, brick walls, outdoor carpet, kids playset and more.

    This product's engine is very good but only problem was difficult to attach garden hose because the inlet was under the engine. Also pressure hose was poor because it burst and damage the hose itself. I realized the hose rated up to 3000 psi meanwhile the device provided up to 2700 psi. That was too close to maximum for the pressure hose. It could be spike over 3000 psi and then burst the hose itself when I turned off the pressure gun valve. The device was only 2 days old.

    I reported to Sears about the incident and they sent me a replacement at same kind of pressure hose with 3000 psi. This incident forced myself to go to purchase better pressure hose and got one with 4000 psi and had to refitted the coupler from 1/4 inches to 3/8 inches. My concern is the device may lose some pressure but seem it works fine.

    Sears should recall this product and replace with better pressure hose. But Sears seems not care about this incident and have to report to the Federal for this incident related with safety situation.

    The garden hose inlet and pressure hose outlet should accessible design not under the engine as I mentioned above.

    Bought this pressure washer on sale. Got this one because it had the surface cleaner with it. It worked very well on a deck that was nasty with mold. 25 deg. tip was taking for ever to clean deck. got this and used the surface cleaner and all i could say was WOW!!! turned a 2 hour job into a 10 min job. Don't realy like the quick change tip. but a set of tips was cheep.

    This pressure washer was just what we were looking to buy! We were going to rent one to wash the siding on the house, but it was going to be nearly half the price to rent as it was to buy! The easy start is amazing. It started first pull every time. It also isn't too loud (it's noisy, yes, but what else can you expect from a gas pressure washer?). We've only used it once, but I think as long as we keep the maintenance up on it, it'll last us for quite a while! It's very easy to use and cart around, and I wouldn't hesitate buying it again.

    The quiet sense (auto throttle) works very poorly. When spraying the engine surges repeatedly and quite often dies when the spray trigger is released. Don't spend the extra money for the quiet sense technology, but the cheaper unit.
