    Craftsman Wall Cabinet is a great addition to my garage space. December 01, 2010

    I just purchase two of these units in the last month. One was a floor model and the other was brand new in the box. Assembly was straight forward and took about 30 min. The red and black colors are sharp and match well with my other Craftsman products. I installed these on a Versatrac grid which made things very easy. It can be done with one person once you have the Versatrac mounted. I like the ability to slide the cabinet left or right easily, or even move it completely without the use of any fasteners. The cabinet itself is sturdy and I have no concerns with filling it up. I could care less about the fact that it locks, but could be handy if you needed it. The shelf is adjustable, although you will have to completely remove bolts to do it. I set mine right in the middle and don't think I will have to move it ever. All in all this is a great cabinet with lots more storage then you might expect. I definitely recommend it and suggest you use it in conjunction with the Versatrac.

    You get what you pay for January 02, 2009

    I just bought this item and after putting it together, I wish I had just bought some wood from Lowes and built my own. Missing some fastners, flimsy steel, and I wasn't told that I needed to purchase the versatrack joiners separately in order to mount my cabinet. Now I will have to make another trip back to Sears to get that. I like craftsman tools and I like my tool box, but this item seems a bit cheap for the price. I paid $119.99 plus tax. It would have been a good deal at $69.99.

    I bought three of these wall units in red. They came unassembled, but were very easy to put together and installed quickly on the wall using lag bolts through pre-drilled 16" on center holes. very sturdy product. I plan on completing my workshop with three more.

    Picked one of these up at Sears today. I will be a good addition to my garage. It will add storage space, and the Red/Black color scheme matches my roll-away tool chest. The unit comes dissassembled. Assembly is not too hard, the instructions are easy to understand and follow. I had the basic assembly done in about half an hour using a my fingers and the included Allen wrench. It took about another 15 to 20 minutes to square it up and to tighten all the fasteners. Maybe another five minutes to put on the doors. I don't have the Craftsman Versa Track system so I used the option to install the cabinet to the studs in the garage wall. This option allows the user to select between 16 or 24 inch stud centers. Consistent with my garage construction I chose the 16" center option. I am happy with this addition to my garage, and may get another in the future.

    I purchased 4 of these cabinets.  Assembly was straight forward and directions were very clear.   The first one took about 1 hour and the remaining 3 took about 30 minutes each to assemble once i had done the first.    I chose to use the Versatrack for installation as i wanted to hang the cabinets side by side.   3 sections of versa track allows the installation of 5 cabinets.   i used 2 1/2" x 1/4" lag bolts to secure the versa track into the studs.   mounted witht he cabinet bottoms at 4'6" to allow easy access to the top shelf.  Installation looks very sharp.

    Sears pricing is all over the place on these- i got mine for $104 each.  Some on here reported much lower pricing but i have not seen anything less than $104 at my location or online.

    I also purchased the matching standing cabinet (32" wide).   Assembly is almost identical to the wall cabinets.

    Overall the cabinet quality is good.  However, it was not easy to purchase online due to the advertised price being different than the "check out" price.  It would be nice if the Craftsman logo was glued on straight.  Assembly was fairly easy and all the parts were there.
