Wait for a better made model
The back of the ratchet head is plastic, the collar that switches left or right at the top of the handle is plastic, the in and out yankee part is very stiff and chrome plated, which means it will come off with wear. I think they need to redesign. Maybe if they had made the whole thing out of stainless it would work better. I can see a lot of returns and exchanges because of breaking and chrome pealing off from wear. This looks to be a six month tool if you use it regularly. It does have reversing capability on the ratchet head as well as the collar. the reversing ability on the collar is for when you turn the ratchet strait 180 degrees and want to use the handle like a ratcheting screwdriver.

What a great ratchet. It can get into area where you hand will not fit and you can still turn the socket.

Great versatile tool

This ratchet is a very creative design and very versatile - it is adjustable in many ways and can reach different scenarios based on that flexibility. Plus the added push ratcheting ability is creative and turns the ratchet world upside down. This is a very cool tool and not your ordinary ratchet.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Mach Series 3/8" Ratchet

My purpose for buying the Mach Series Ratchet was initially out of interest of design, but after having it I quickly learned that this tool does have an interesting and unique feature that makes it a tool that does make some applications faster for in removal / installation of fasteners.
