    Nice 3 piece plier set September 19, 2010

    I used them for my Electrical Engineering classes and they were very handy on cutting wires and picking up small components. I like how compact the pliers are and I could easily pack them in a box or backpack. I kinda wish they had a way to keep the pliers from opening up, but I use rubber bands to keep them closed instead.

    Don't waste your money March 10, 2011

    The cutters in this set have left me very disappointed with Craftsman. When cutting small wires you must cut at least half way back in the jaws or they will not cut. If you hold the jaws up to a light you can see that the cutting surfaces do not touch. I have been in the electronics industry for 30 years and have never seen a worse pair of cutters. I also bought the Sears Mini Diagonal Pliers # 45660. These are a jaw for flush cutting such as cutting leads on a printed circuit board. These cutters have exactly the same problem. Held up to a light you can see that the cutting surfaces do not make contact until half way back the jaws. These are signs of poor machining and is not typical of Craftsman tools.

    To sum it up.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

    excellent buy and great quality. the cutters have a well-matched set of edges, and are good for detail work. they stand up well to twisting and don't mis-align. needlenose are very good at gripping small items. now all we need are attached reading glasses!

    Unbeatable buy for 3 mini pliers of this quality. One would cost as much as the whole set elsewhere. Useful for hobbies and crafts where intricate set ups are required. Hobbyists cannot be without this set, they are handy to have for small electronic building and repairs.

    This is a great little set of pliers, specialy when on sale. I use these pliers for doing small electronic projects requireing a fine pointed needle nose plier. They work well for this kind of application. The insulated handles have a nice grip feature to them. They are also spring loaded so they are automatically open. I have found that the long nose are just right for setting the hands on my old ships clock. I now find that I will need to buy a seperate one just to keep by the clock in my office.

    I've used these for about a year and a half and they have never failed or become weak. I am a huge fan of all Craftsman hand tools, and these are just as good. The cutters have never worn out, the pliers are strong, and I especially like the long pliers for deep cavities inside guitars. I will always buy these and recommend them to anyone
