    Recently purchased the 3 ton floor jack. September 01, 2010

    After some on-line searches and reading reviews of other jacks that are about the same price, I decided to get the Craftsman. After unpacking it and reading the instructions to blead any air out, I tried it a few times to lift my Ford Explorer and a Honda Accord. Worked great and it will be used a few times a year for basic maintenance and minor repairs. It's a beast as far as the weight goes, about 95 lbs. I greased the wheel axles and it moves around on the garage floor just fine. There is a review on this site about adding grease to the grease cert and the cert popped out. The instructions state to NOT ever add grease, that cert is for factory use only. My guess is that you forced it out by adding too much grease. The only thing I have to say that is negative, is the 2 piece handle does not fit very snug where they fit together.

    I have had two Craftsman floor jacks in the past five or so years and both failed. The last one wouldn't jack the car up at all. Since it was a Craftsman I took it back for a replacement. It was two years old but they would only warranty it for one year. So, I'm looking for another jack, but not a Craftsman.

    Bought this jack on sale and glad that I did. It sure came in handy when I removed my plow from my truck. So it is, and can be used 4 much more than just changing tires!!!!

    As a woman with a small child, traveling alone without the proper tools is a big no-no! That's why I only trust one brand for all my automotive/mechanic tool needs! This comes in a handy carrying case that's easily carried around and the jack assembly is a snap! In no time at all you'll have your vehicle up and off the ground ready to tackle the job!

    We own a Craftsman 3T jack and it has done everything we have used it for. It slides under equipment very easily and have no trouble lifting what we need to lift. It rolls along the floor very easily and is easy to keep clean. We actually have two of these 3Ton jacks
