    I would never buy this model again. I had the mower 3 seasons and it blew a rod. My lawn is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. and level. Total waste of money.

    this mower has to be properly set up to run smooth. 3" over the lawn it's just fine. I've set the rear wheels a little high that front and no more pushing when entering in a bump. I guess the weight has to sit on the front wheels. Good choice! i know there are much better mowers like honda, but is way off my budget. I could say might not do the job on the heavy duty side. 0.5 acre-yard OK.

    I bought this model to replace an old Craftsman 4.7hp model that came with our house. What a difference. More horsepower. Quicker cuts. Less vibration and total effort to cut my front and back yards. The fire engine red deck and chrome grill by the starter gives this baby some extra styling pizzazz all its own. The mower does cut evenly if all the wheels are set to the same position on the deck's wheel guides. The grass catcher bag does work most efficiently if the grass is not wet or even slightly damp. The Owner's Manual does state how to adjust the handles. It is an easy read and well laid out with pictures and processes.

    Repaced my Sears 6HP self-propelled rear bagger after 10 years of trouble free service because it finally died. The new model #37606 mower is very similar, with the same large rear wheels and self-propelled via the small front ones. The new mower started first time (no primer). Kind of miss the two speed feature on the old one, but the new one cuts nice and evenly. Looking forward to another 10+ years with this one. Thanks.
