    Convenient, but made in China? January 19, 2011

    these are very convenient for tight spaces where you have to continually remove you open end wrench to fit on a bolt and can't fit over it for a standard ratcheting box end. I was surprised to see they were made in China and may have reconsidered if i had noticed before the purchase. I will have to see how they perform on some tougher jobs before i comment on the durability and quality.

    Craftsman 8 pc. Inch Dual Ratcheting Wrench is a little pricey December 29, 2011

    As compared to "GearWrench" brand, Craftsman is very expensive. I got this item on sale. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't on sale.

    8 pc. of wrenches is not enough, doesn't cover all size you need. But if you buy 8 pc. metic wrench set together, it will cover all size. Besides, you will also get wrenches of slightly different size, such as 3/8" and 10mm, 1/2" and 13mm, 9/16" and 14mm, 11/16" and 18mm. The size of this set is well-considered when you buy both of standard and metric sets.

    Craftsman and GearWrench, quality is probably the same. But Craftsman's set is slightly heavier and thicker than "GreaWrench". Both of them come with lifttime warrantee. But "Greawrench" can be replaced by Snap-on, Mac, and Matco tool truck. So I prefer and recommend "GearWrench".

    open end ratchet works well when u don't have enough clearance to use the box end...

    I decided to get these after playing with them in sears for a month. I really liked how it racheted on both ends and I knew that it would be very helpful. The only problem I have is that its made in china. I didnt realize that when I bought it because Craftsman has always had that they were made in the USA. I am really disapointed that they are not. But at least it has the lifetime warranty.
