    Service after the Sale April 09, 2009

    This product was not available in stores, nor could I have it shipped to a store near me for pick-up, so shipping charges applied. Still, the tools arrived as advertised and were everything in quality I had hoped for and certainly more than I needed. One of the items, however, was missing. I called the Sears Customer Service number and was asked to be patient while they checked on an appropriate course of action. In the interim, they immediately refunded my shipping charges. Two days later, I received the missing jig saw in the mail. These are the kinds of professionalism and service delivery standards that keep me coming back to Sears for all my major purchases. I am now in the midst of remodeling my home and intend to shop at Sears for more tools, appliances and anything else that can help me complete the job.

    Disappointed - Lithiun Ion Batteries not included in 5 pc.Combo May 12, 2009

    After seeing the C3 19.2 volt  Sears tool kits heavily advertized with long lasting fast charging Lithium-Ion batteries.  Today I purchased a 5 trool combo kit, and now upon opening the box with excitement to find the two  lithium-ion  batteries ( 9-17300), I found none.  How can Sears say they can be trusted??  Instead  the combo kit had Two Craftsman Diehard batteries which I presume are their normal everyday Ni -cad ( there's no identification of battery type I can find on the battery other than CS0843. and the battery number 130279005.  Needless to say , I'm totally ticked off.  After waiting and studying the merits of Lithium-Ion  Batteries, and I finally make a purchase with Sears who I thought I could trust in not using bait and switch tactics.  I've been had, never to trust Sears again..  I'm Big Time Disappointed.

    We bought this for our daughter for xmas. She needed them for her job, restoration fo flooded, fire damaged homes. They seem to be working great. We live in Canada and many of her friends wish they could get the same kit for such a good price and such a good reputation .
