Hany cutting tool
This cutting tools works great. Cuts through anything. Used it
on building my trailer cutting angle Irion. Cuts trough with ease and
is a very handing tool. Craftsmans makes great well built tools that last. my father has many Craftsman tools that are older than I am.
Another great product By Craftsman.

The Craftsman Cut Off Tool performs well
I am a mechanic and I use this tool on a regular basis. I have found that the tool does not have any issues with power. The only complaint I have is the thickness of the handle. It is comfortable but it takes up alot of room. You cant fit it into tight places. The handle is slightly smaller than the blade size. It doesnt allow for deep cuts. I have owned this tool for around 6 months. It gets used and abused but performs like it should.

dont use for metal
The tool itself works fine and has plenty of rpm to cut thru various items. DO NOT purchase this tool if the primary use of this tool is to cut METAL. The so called "see thru" shield is made of plastic and melts when your cutting metal. This is why all other brands have a metal shield. Very poor design flaw as most uses for a saw of this type is for metal cut off.

Very powerful!
Very powerful and coact cut off tool. Needs a large air compressor if you plan on using thos tool for more than a few seconds at a time. This tool uses A LOT of air! Easy to use and easy to change wheels. Even comes with the proper hex key to switch wheels!

I got this 50% off as a craftsman club member and it is worth every penny. It is comfortable to use, comes with cut-off wheels, and is good quality. I have cut through many types of metal, and this goes through them like butter. It is a great addition to any toolbox!

Handy tool but pricey
I've used this tool for about 6 months now and I'll be honest, I've abused it and I think it likes it. It's a solid tool, fast, durable and dependable. I've used it to cut everything from 1/4" threaded rod all the way up to cutting apart inner tie rods and strut assemblies. Now, I don't recommend cutting apart struts on a daily basis because the fluid is under pressure and it can ignite if it's misted but this tool has held up to it all and then some. An average day for this tool is cutting apart steel beads on tires that blew out and it slices through those steel bands like it's nothing. Cutting off damaged wheel studs is a breeze and safe thanks to a large safety guard. What surprised me the most is how well this tool can do fine work, such as dressing a cutting edge on chisels & prybars or putting a sharp edge on weight hammers or slotting bolts when someone rounds off the hex. Final say; buy it when it's on sale, its an awesome tool but the price point throws off some people
