Craftsman  High Volume Low Pressure Spray Gun

My husband was working on a job building an addition for a friend of ours, she is 89 years old and decided it was about time she put an addition on her bedroom. When the addition was completed and the only projects left were siding, painting, and she wanted shutters for her windows. She went to the store and chose the style she wanted, the only problem was she did not like the color. She purchased shutters to do her entire home. My husband explained to her he can paint the shutters whatever color she loved. They picked out a beautiful blue.

My husband has been working with his old spray gun for a long time and I suggested he go to Sears and invest in a new one, he uses spray guns alot and having the right one cuts the job time in half. He called me from Sears and said he found exactly what he wanted, I knew it would be a Craftsman, believe me Craftsman would be proud to see his garage and all of the Craftsman tools he owns. He told me he purchased the Craftsman High Volume Low Pressure Spray Gun and he is on his way home to spray all the shutters. He had all of the shutters lined up in our backyard and I stood on our deck to watch him, I could not believe how great this Craftsman Spray Gun worked, and how fast the job was done. After the two coats I went down to see if I could find any runs or missed spots. Ths gun performs GREAT. The coverage is unbelievable and they look like they came out of the factory with the blue paint already sprayed on.

He usually does not get to overwhelmed when doing a job, he knows what he is doing and he knows I always compliment him on jobs well done. He brought the shutters up to our friends home and installed all of them before she came home. She puled in and litterally stopped in her driveway and got out of her car with her mouth wide open and could not believe how beautiful her home looked. Roman, my husband told me on the way home if he ever sends me to Sears to buy anything for him to make sure it is Craftsman, I already knew that because I've heard it a thousand times. When we came home to clean out the gun and put it in it's place in the garage he made a new shelf to put it on. Sears, I thank you for continuing to make the best of the best for the contractors and homeowners out there. When you make tools you do not just have contractors in mine you have general homeowners in mind also, alot of homeowners do not know how to use some of the tools they buy, and you make it a point to give directions that are easy to understand. Thanks for my husbands new toy and also thank you for making an elderly woman so proud of her home. Craftsman another job well done !!!

I recently purchased this HVLP gun to do a budges build on a 65 mustang. worked great for an amature paint job. Nossle size is either 1.5 or 1.7 since it goes through paint pretty quickly... used the 33 gal craftsman air compressor at 40 psi... no complaints at all, cleanup was easy and painless as well.

The task was getting oil-based Kilz on every surface of a newly purchased (smoked-in) house, followed by latex. The other sprayers from the big-box home supply either started leaking or died slowly (and quite insidiously as the pattern continued to narrow, but not due to any plug or buildup). Finally bit the bullet and spent what it actually takes to get a good product, and the project time finally became realistic. This performs like a pro-quality airless for a ton less money if you already have a full-size compressor. I have a 33-gal Craftsman. The paint tank performs flawlessly as well, and I use their in-line filter since I live in Texas where there is plenty of water in the tank.

The gun doesn't work at 40 psi. I tried to take it back and the store wouldn't accept it because I put paint into the can. Gee how am I suppose to know if it worked or not?

IT TAKES 60 PSI OF PRESSURE TO GET THIS GUN TO SPRAY WATER. IT SAYS IT IS LOW PRESSURE, 40 PSI. i TOOK ONE BACK AND GOT ANOTHER, SAME RESULTS. OTHERWISE IT IS A NICE GUN.
