Featuring a linear bearing slide rail system and adjustable upfront support brackets, this dual bevel compound miter saw from Craftsman® has the support you need, even for your really big work pieces. Its upfront bevel lock and quick cam miter lock table makes it easy to change bevel and miter settings. The Laser Trac® projects an accurate guide line for precise miter cuts, bevel cuts, crosscuts and compound cuts.

    • 15.0 Amp, 120 Volts, 60 Hz 4,200 RPM motor
    • Sliding rail system allows for cuts up to 12" wide crosscuts
    • Dual bevel capacity up to 48° degrees left and right. Positive stops at 0°,33.9°, 45°
    • Upfront bevel lock allows for bevel andle changes without reaching behind unit
    • Quick cam miter lock for upfront locking of all miter angles
    • Tall sliding fences provide extra work support on both sides of blade
    • Telescoping aluminum extensions with stop block for additional support

    Very well constructed and easy to use. Came ready to go out of the box. Made only minor adjustments to miter positions. Miter presets made cutting baseboard trim, even around a bay window, very easy. I highly recommend this saw.

    This is the best miter saw I've ever used. It's quiet, accurate and easy to set up. I love the sliding fence. And might I add, it looks great in my shop.

    Pros:
    Accurate, Laser trac,powerful

    Speaking from my personal experience with Craftsman tools since 1976, having purchased and utilized them for many household remodeling and craft projects, this proved to be another fine example of Craftsman quality and the reason Craftsman tools have been my tools of choice for so many years.  Right from the box, no calibration or adjustment was required.  Set-up and operation is quick and easy.  As a Safety Professional and Construction Safety Manager, the one recommendation I have is to include a safety pin (key) for the trigger switch that works similar to the safety keys for other Craftsman tools that prevents inadvertent operation when the handle is grasped should someone forget the unit is plugged in.
