      The best cordless drill I have ever used January 21, 2011

       This is, without a doubt, the best cordless drill I have ever used. I have had this drill for six months and it hasn't let me down AT ALL. In 1998, I purchased a DeWalt 18-Volt cordless drill. It was great. I was so happy with it that I purchased another after 5 years of heavy use. The second DeWalt was horrible. I then purchased a 19.2-Volt Craftsman set. It was not incredible, but it was worth what I paid for it. I needed another drill for a series of projects. I was inclined toward another 19.2-Volt drill, but saw the 20-Volt set and purchased it because of the Lithium battery.  My son and I installed two decks and sided our home.  After all that, the drill still runs like it was new.  The batteries recharge quickly and one is done well before the other is dead--even with heavy use.  As with most cordless drills, it is well balanced.

      I am not sure why Craftsman promotes the LED so heavily--it's really not bright enough to do much good; I wish there were an off switch for the LED.  One note: as with other reviewers, one of my batteries just doesn't seem right. If I drain it all the way, it will indicate that it is a faulty battery when I try to charge it.  Once I let it sit for a half hour, it works just fine.  I currently don't let it get less than 25% charge. I am afraid that this particular battery may cause me problems in the future. This one battery problem does not keep me from loving this drill, though.  I'll never buy another DeWalt.

      TOTALLY USELESS....Does Not Include a Battery September 22, 2010

      NoBattery.....Nothing in listing stated there was not a battery....There was a small note on side of ther box that I doubt Superman could even read as the font was so small that no battery was included.   I did not find out until I arrived home & opened the box.   What a scam......What am I supposed to do with a battery operated drill and no battery to operate it.    Sears, NEVER AGAIN!

      I replaced a similar Crafsman Drill I had for over 15 years. The only reason I needed to replace it was that the charger quit working - everything was still working great other than I couldn't charge the batteries and could not find a replacement charger. I am kind of glad now since I got this one because it is quite a super upgrade and I really love it. It has plenty of power and battery life is great. Nice having the light. I would 100% reccamend this drill!

      I have owned my Craftsman Professional Cordless Drill/Driver for almost 3 years. I love it. The battery life constantly outlasts my friends cordless drills when we are working on projects. It has the power to do the job and does not start to slow down until the battery is just about used up.

      This drill has power and gets the job done.  You won't be unhappy with it!  We bought it to use as a standby, but it has become the go to item in the tool box.

      If you are unsure about this one or the cheaper one, I would advise purchasing this item.
