    Great drill for the money! April 03, 2011

    I purchased this hammer drill after my "yellow brand" cordless hammer drill failed on me.

    I was immediately amazed how much more power this drill had. I was drilling a bunch of holes into contrete blocks in order to attach fir strips in my basement. I kept on thinking my drill bit was going bad (when using my old hammer drill). I used those same bits on this drill and was amazed how it was NOT the bits.

    Very pleased with my purchase.

    Not very Professional July 12, 2010

    I used this drill three times!! The first time I used it was to mix up dry wall mud (No Problem). Then the next time I used it was to install shutter ( No problem with the brick). And Finally when I put it to the test of drilling a hole into concrete about 5 to 6 inches it burned up. Sear would not replace it. Plus the bit did keep slipping. I would not recommend the Not Very Professional Drill!!!!!!

    What a piece of junk! First time I tried to use it smoke came from the motor housing, power was very weak for a supposed 8 amps. Very disappointed but not surprised, I've never had luck with craftsman power tools.

    Made in China... and is a piece of garbage. Don't buy it. My lasted only a few minutes before it burned up and started spitting out little pieces of hot metal.
