    Outrageously overpriced, but, . . . October 05, 2010

    This pressure washer, like most, is outrageously overprice.

    On the good side, it is quieter and easier to start than the last Craftsman pressure washer I bought about 2 years ago, even when hot.

    Very peculiar method of turning unit off, but it works. The handle is REALLY annoying and fatigues the hand in short order. The back pressure on the trigger caused by the spring is at fault.

    The handle unit does NOT always lock itself out, as it is supposed to, when you let go of the trigger. In fact, most of the time I can just pull the trigger again and it starts spraying, again,without having to push the annoying lock out release button. As a safety feature it is a major fail.

    The handle that one tows it around with is perpetually loose and feels like it is about to fall off. Really cheapens the impression of the unit, overall.

    Oil input and drains oddly placed. Not easy to access without spills.

    Did not come with siphon hose. Was also missing the main pressure hose, but a call made that right in short order.

    An older design, user must premix cleaning solutions. Not so with newer designs.

    Extension hoses are ABSURDLY expensive, and the "included" one is too short.

    None-the-less, it does the job. I just hope it last a long time.

    3100 PSI Power Washer - I'm not awe struck May 03, 2011

    I got the 3100 PSI power Washer and it used it for several hours yesterday. It worked OK but there are several issues....

    Pros - the multi nozzle is convenient.

    Pros - I did wash my driveway and about half my house.

    Cons - The special "on board" super concentrate is a waste of time. The pick-up did not work. Period. And not that it matters since it did not work - but the hose vibrated off from both ends. Don't bother with it. The other pick-p worked OK but you have to lug around a gallon jug - what a pain.

    Cons - Even on "MAX" the spray is useless for a 2nd story. I don't know if a special 2nd story nozzle will help but the one supplied is worthless at that distance. Although it works well close.

    Cons - The storage rack is a joke. You have to disassemble the wand to store it. I mean seriously? The Hose reel is insufficient. A joke - really. It looks good but it is worthless. As if it was designed by an interior designer or something - not a user.

    Cons- The fuel line spontaneously disconnected, while I was using the washer, and spewed gasoline all over the place. I don't know if it's a faulty design or just assembled poorly. We'll see if it happens again.

    Cons - I had the hardest time starting it. Yes I relieved the pressure after every pull. It FINALLY started after I HELD the wand "open" in one hand and pulled the crank with the other hand. What a pain. There should be a built in pressure relief or something if it's that finicky.

    Con - A couple of times the engine ran rough for a few minutes and the spray "shuddered." It seemed to smooth out again after a while but I hope that is not an indication of things to come.

    Bottle cages need to be welded better

    I originally purchased the Pressure Washer to clean my driveway and siding of my home. I also started to use it for washing the under-carriage of my truck. Living in the North, I get some grime and salt during the winter months, this is one of the best ways to keep your investment longer. The setup is quick and with the soap bottles and quick change nozzle, I enjoy taking care of my truck.

    Six months ago, we replaced all of our kitchen appliances. With the points earned from Sears, we were able to get this power washer for free. It is extremely powerful and we were able to clean off our sidewalk and vinyl deck and it made everything look brand new. I just wish the wheels were on the back instead of the front of this unit.
