    I work at a data center where I am on the floor a lot. I would walk with these Sears knee pads on my knees vis getting up to cross the room. It is very easy to slide across on the hard surface floor on these hard shell pads. I am re ordering another set after a year of use they have started to crack on the left pad (this is the pad that I go down on first). I have another set at home and have used them for years and they also have started to crack on that same knee. It could be that since you feel so comfortable in them a person goes to the knees sort of hard.
